My Bio

    Hello everyone! It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Armando Valencia and I am from Long Beach CA. My upbringing was filled with the Chicano lifestyle, best of both cultures. Early on I was hook on art and started drawing from the moment I held a crayon. I fell in love with cartoons ranging from old black and white Betty Boop, due to older relatives, to modern programs like Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Disney. Ever since then its inspired me to become an animator to create new shows with new ideas, stories, and art which include cultural perspective. I have obtain a skills in character/logo design, storyboard, script writing, animating, and comic book illustration. My goal is to create my own animated shows that can both inspire kids like me to pursue the field of art, and to make adults laugh, cry, and feel connected with my ideas.
